Thank You! Shipment Sent to the Philippines!

Thank you to all of you who donated to get supplies to the Philippines in their time of need. Disasters have a way of bringing good people together and I want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. There is ANOTHER 200 MPH wind headed for the Philippines tonight.. We may have to ramp this relief effort up in the next 48 hours.

While I enjoy a warm bed and a DVD on Friday night, my assistant Ana and her family are dealing with the aftermath of a record breaking Typhoon that has brought calamity into their reality. No water to drink or bathe, no food and countless children that need blankets and dry clothes.

The man that made “help” happen is a true hero. My friend John Edmondson, who has dedicated his life to serving and helping others, has coordinated a massive relief effort in hours, NOT weeks. John is a former real estate developer that no longer has to work for a living. He began purecompassion.org to do EXACTLY what we’ve all done together this week. When a crisis hits we should all be thankful for good people like John.
